Today was a day filled with relief, gratitude, and the biggest smiles we’ve had in a long time. After weeks of watching over Teddy, worrying about his every movement, and hoping for healing with all our hearts, we finally received the news we’ve been praying for. Teddy had his follow-up vet check today… and he is officially back to 100%! His splenectomy incision has fully healed, and our brave little fighter is shining brighter than ever.
Walking into the clinic this morning, we were all nervous. Even Teddy seemed to sense the importance of the visit. He stayed close to us, his tail giving slow, hopeful wags, as if he could feel that something big was about to happen. The vet greeted him with a smile and gentle hands, impressed by how alert, cheerful, and strong Teddy looked. And honestly, we could already tell—Teddy felt better. His spark was there again, glowing proudly in his eyes.
When the vet examined his incision, checking every little detail, every stitch site, every sign of healing, we held our breath. And then came the moment we’ll never forget:
“He’s completely healed. Everything looks perfect.”
Those words washed over us like sunshine after a storm. Teddy is healed. Teddy is healthy. Teddy is back.

Leaving the clinic, you could see Teddy’s excitement. It was like he knew. He bounced at the end of his leash, tail wagging nonstop, as if announcing to the world, “I’m back, everybody!” For the first time in weeks, we felt that pure, joyful version of him—full of life, full of love, full of Teddy.
At home, he celebrated with treats, snuggles, and a well-deserved nap in his favorite spot. We couldn’t stop watching him, feeling nothing but gratitude for his strength and the love that carried us all through.
