🤴🏾😂👸🏽 Defending Your Girl Gone Wrong
It all started on a Saturday night, the kind of night that felt like something epic was supposed to happen. Malik and his girlfriend, Alana, were out at their favorite burger spot, laughing loud enough to make the workers stare, but not loud enough to get kicked out. At least, not yet.
Alana was wearing her favorite pink jacket, the one Malik bought her on their six-month anniversary. Malik liked to think he looked like a king standing beside her. He knew she deserved royal treatment, and he wanted to be the one to provide it.
Everything was going amazing until a dude at the counter tried to shoot his shot.
This man walked up, looked at Alana, and said, “You got a man or should I change your life real quick?”
Malik froze. Not because he was scared—well, maybe a little—but mostly because he never expected someone to say something that bold. Alana raised an eyebrow, waiting to see what her king was going to do. Malik knew this was his moment.
He stood up, puffed his chest, and said, “Bro, that’s my girl.”
The guy smirked. “Then why she look like she considering her options?”
Alana gasped. Malik’s heart started beating like he was in a boxing ring, crowd chanting, spotlight shining. He couldn’t back down now. He was defending his queen’s honor!
“Hey, man,” Malik said, stepping closer, “you better back up before I—”
Before he finished, he knocked over a tray of food. Fries went flying. Ketchup splattered onto the front of his shirt like a crime scene. The entire restaurant stopped and stared.
Alana put her hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh, but it slipped out anyway. “Baby… you look like you lost a fight with a cheeseburger.”
The bold stranger finally cracked a smile. “Aight man, I see you got this handled. Respect.” And he walked away, shaking his head.
Malik stood there covered in ketchup, trying to regain whatever dignity he had left. Alana grabbed napkins and cleaned him up like the queen she was.
“You were brave,” she said, kissing his cheek. “And also extremely clumsy.”
They left the restaurant holding hands, Malik a little embarrassed, Alana still giggling every five seconds. He might not have looked like a king after the fight, but he defended his girl—and that made him feel royal anyway.
