Don’t Just Look at It😂
You ever have one of those days where something goes wrong, and instead of fixing it, you just stare at it like it’s going to magically solve itself? Yeah… that was my entire morning. I walked into the living room and froze. My dog, my sweet innocent-looking troublemaker, had knocked over an entire bag of flour. White powder everywhere. On the couch, on the floor, on HIM. He looked like a small, guilty snowman.
I just stood there whispering, “Don’t just look at it… don’t just look at it…” But my brain? Completely offline. All I could do was blink like a broken robot.
My dog stared back at me as if I caused the mess. Tail wagging. Face proud. He even sneezed, and a little cloud of flour puffed off his nose. I swear the universe was trolling me.
I pulled out my phone and hit record because honestly, this mess was beyond explanation. “Y’all… look at this. #omg,” I said, zooming in on the disaster. The way he sat in the middle of the chaos like a furry crime lord made everything ten times funnier.
But the real moment came when I turned the camera toward the couch. The entire thing was white. My black couch. My favorite couch. Completely frosted like a giant pastry. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, so I did both at the same time, sounding like some kind of broken trumpet.
People online always say, “Don’t just look at it, fix it.” But nah… sometimes you need a minute to silently question your life choices. Sometimes you need to stand there wondering how one tiny dog can create a Level 10 natural disaster before breakfast.
By the time I finally grabbed a broom, I realized the mess wasn’t even the worst part. My dog had left tiny flour pawprints all over the house. On the table. On the stairs. Even on my shoes. He was literally spreading the problem like a walking, wagging snowstorm.
After an hour of cleaning, I sat down, exhausted, next to my fluffy culprit. He curled up beside me and gave that “I did good?” look. I sighed, pat his head, and said, “This is why y’all need to hit that #subscribe button… because my life is pure chaos.”
So next time something goes wrong? Don’t just look at it…
Record it, laugh at it, and share the madness.
