Everyone, Teddy is Sick😭❤🐶
Today is a heavy day in our home. Our sweet and gentle Teddy is sick, and everyone can feel the shift in the air. The once bouncy little furball, who used to run to greet us with his wagging tail and sparkling eyes, now lies quietly in his bed, barely moving. It’s heartbreaking to watch him this way.
Teddy has always been more than just a pet. He’s family. He’s the one who knew when you were feeling sad and would cuddle up beside you without a word. He’s the one who made everyone laugh with his silly little antics — barking at the vacuum cleaner, chasing his tail, or begging for treats with his big round eyes. But now, Teddy isn’t barking. He isn’t eating. And the house feels strangely quiet.
Dad noticed it first. Teddy didn’t finish his breakfast, which is rare. Then he didn’t want to go for a walk. Later in the day, he just curled up in the corner, shivering a bit, his nose dry and his eyes looking tired. We rushed him to the vet, our hearts pounding. The doctor said Teddy has a fever, and he might be fighting off an infection. He was given medicine, and we were told to keep him warm and comfortable.
Since then, we’ve all been taking turns sitting with him. Mom brings him warm soup in a small bowl, even though he just sniffs it. I sit beside him, stroking his soft fur, whispering how much we love him. Even the cat, usually jealous of Teddy’s attention, curled up near him like she knew he needed company.
It’s scary, not knowing if he’ll get better soon. But we’re hopeful. Teddy is strong and loved by so many. We believe that with care, rest, and love, he’ll pull through. We just want everyone to know—Teddy is sick, and he needs all our prayers and good thoughts.
